HARVEST TIME
DECEMBER
December 7 Colors of Christmas: Green
The color green signifies new growth or new beginnings. Galatians 4:4 describes a new beginning, when God brought Jesus into the world. Although we know that God sent His son to the earth with the mission to provide eternal hope, we often times find ourselves between Malachi (the last book of the Old Testament) and Matthew (the first book of the New Testament) waiting for God to show up. This sermon will help us during the times that we wait on God's timing.
December 14 Colors of Christmas: Blue
The color blue is one that represents a dark color. Even though Christmas is a time of joy and celebrations, it an be a dark time for people. This sermon will address how to cope with these dark times during the Christmas season.
December 21 Colors of Christmas: Gold
The color gold is a reference to the gifts the Wiseman brought Jesus. Christmas is a time to give and receive gifts. Christmas is a time to offer the gift of worship to Jesus. This sermon will help us discover the joy that is found in giving gifts to others, and the value of giving the gift of worship to Jesus.
December 24 Colors of Christmas: White
